Welcome to FindMyTutor. I’m Kaelin Henning – Teacher & Founder of FindMyTutor
With over 13 years of teaching experience, I know how challenging things can be for both students trying to keep up and teachers giving it their all. When I started looking into online tutoring, I was surprised to see that many platforms were taking 20–40% of each lesson fee from tutors. That just didn’t sit right with me. That’s why I created FindMyTutor. A platform that puts people before profits and is built with respect for educators and simplicity for families.
I designed this platform with two big goals in mind:
Let tutors keep what they earn
Instead of taking a percentage of every lesson, we charge a small flat subscription (about the price of a coffee!). Tutors keep 100% of their lesson fees with no hidden cuts – EVER. This means no matter what you earn you still only pay $5.
Make it super simple for students to find help
No sign-ups. No waiting for approval. No complicated request systems. Just search for a tutor, view their profile and contact them directly. It’s that easy.
